2023 - an update

I moved home to New Zealand in December last year and now live in Te Anau.  Situated in Fiordland in the lower South Island, Te Anau is home to the largest body of fresh water in the southern hemisphere.  Lake Te Anau is big, it’s deep, it’s cold, and it’s absolutely stunning.  In fact, the whole area is absolutely stunning, the native bush, the mountains, the wilderness.  It is so nice living in nature like this, it’s calming and energising at the same time.

Don’t underestimate the healing power of nature

While I am still very much active in my nutrition business, I have started working at the local pharmacy.  This involves me studying to become a Pharmacy Technician.  I feel this will be helpful in my role as a nutritionist as I develop my knowledge about community health.

It has been a big change moving from a big city to a small rural village.  One of the things I have enjoyed more of is improving my fitness.  We go hiking most weekends, which is something we didn’t often do when living in a city,  and I have also just started training for a half marathon.  I will share my training and recovery with you as I go. I also have lots of information, recipes, and so much more to share!

The wilderness here is magnificent

I am taking bookings for face-to-face and online consultations, so if you have any 2023 health and wellness goals, any health concerns, or want to know more about how I can help you, please feel free to get in touch!

My deer neighbours are very photogenic
