I care about your health & happiness.

Christchurch nutritionist Anna Morgan

I focus on what you gain, not what you lose

Hi, I’m Anna. I’m a bachelor qualified nutritionist based in Christchurch, New Zealand and I’m on a mission. I want to change the way people view their bodies, particularly women after menopause. I help you feel your best, no matter your life stage.

Struggling with energy and motivation? I’ve been there too

I struggled my whole life with digestive issues. Bloating, constant discomfort and the frustration of wondering what was wrong with me.

It took me years to find a diagnosis and I’m pleased to say I’m now in remission. However, my struggle took me on a journey to discover how much our nutrition and what we eat can affect women’s health.

I studied a Bachelor of Health Science degree at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies and Torrens University in Brisbane, Australia and am now an evidence-based practitioner.

I am an associate registered nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of New Zealand, which means I hold an approved qualification, meet the professional criteria, and I stay up-to-date on evidence-based information and research.

I am always learning and growing, so I can share what I’ve learnt with other women.

My unique approach to health

When I was struggling with my health, I saw a variety of medical and health professionals. I bet you have too. But I found their approach was restrictive and complicated.

When I think about nutrition and people’s health, I focus on what you gain, not what you lose. Rather than looking at food restriction or weight loss, I focus on life longevity, blood sugar regulation, blood pressure regulation and hormone regulation.

I use a holistic, evidence-based approach to understand the underlying problems, not just the symptoms.

The Mount Cook Buttercup, a symbol of empowerment and women’s health

Celebrating empowerment

I grew up on a high-country sheep station in the middle of the South Island of New Zealand. My upbringing has inspired me to choose the Mount Cook Lily (Ranunculus lyallii) as my logo, the world’s largest buttercup. Despite the harsh conditions of the alpine region of New Zealand, these plants have adapted to thrive.

I believe people are just like Mount Cook Buttercups. When we’re busy raising families, caring for our elderly relatives and running successful businesses, sometimes life can feel overwhelming. But when we have the tools and support to manage our stress, improve our health and increase our energy, we can thrive.

As a nutritionist, I work with you to optimise your health so you can be the strong, capable person that you’re destined to be.
